ED AND ELIZABETH KRAISINGER FAMILY

Ed Kaisinger married Elizabeth Schwerer and they moved from Lisle in 1942 to work a farm on Mill Street and North Aurora Road, (now 5th Avenue). It was owned by Ed and Mildred Hurley, who purchased it in 1941 and called it Miledge. That farm consisted of 300 acres and been the Schwartz farm. The Kraisingers raised their four children on the farm, and they are Thomas, Donald, Kathryn (Mark Bartel) and Mary (Douglas Koehler). Ed farmed the land until 1971 when part of the farm was condemned for Naperville North High School. He is now retired and they live in the Brush Hill subdivision.
