EDWARD
PATTERMANN FAMILY
Edward Pattermann was born January 2, 1902 in “Big Woods”, and moved to Warrenville, Illinois in 1929. He farmed in the area until 1948. He married Lillian Brummel, who also came from the “Big Woods” area, presently called Marywood. They had 3 children: Gerald, Norbert and Janice. He later farmed on Route 59 and that is now a huge subdivision.
Around 1948, due to post-war conditions, Ed and his family moved into town. He bought shares in part ownership in Naperville Liquors, located at 42 West Jefferson Street. He sold out in 1971 and became an active retiree in auctioning, which he continued to do until he passed away on August 9, 1979. His wife, Lillian passed away some years earlier on June 17, 1960.
There are eleven grandchildren: Steven, Edward and Kenneth, sons of Gerald. Janice Kreinbrink has two boys, Paul and Bob. The children of Norbert are: Victor, Cindy, Scott, Chip Patrick and John.
